Ear Microsuction: Ear microsuction is a safe, gentle, and effective method of removing excess ear wax and debris from the ear canal. Unlike traditional ear syringing, microsuction uses a small medical suction device to carefully remove wax under direct vision, making it a more precise and comfortable procedure for many patients. The procedure usually takes 20-30 minutes.
To achieve the best results, we recommend softening the ear wax before your appointment by using olive oil or a commercial wax-softening ear drop for 2–3 days prior to your visit (unless advised otherwise by your doctor).
Do not use cotton buds or insert any objects into your ears, as this can push wax deeper into the ear canal.
